Assistant Purchase Manager (Engineering)

Key Responsibilities

  1. Carry out local and foreign procurement of all material in the Engineering (MRO/CAPEX) category in compliance with the SOX Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business process and purchase manual.
  2. Analyze spend data and generate insights for the development of suitable sourcing strategies and for identifying cost saving opportunities.
  3. Develop and maintain very close working relationships with the internal customers to better understand and meet their requirements and expectations.
  4. Gather market intelligence to identify and pre-qualify new suppliers to improve bargaining power and mitigate supply risks.
  5. Conduct negotiations with suppliers to secure best price and commercial terms and conditions.
  6. Develop and nurture strong supplier relationships and ensure that payments are made to suppliers as per agreed payment terms.
  7. Ensure compliance to procurement KPIs including but not limited to PR-PO cycle time, pending items, open POs, pending deliveries and rejections.
  8. Provide support for the implementation of process and efficiency improvement initiatives, IT modifications and digitalization projects.

Requirements

BE/BSc in Mechanical Engineering or MBA from a recognized university.

Minimum 2 – 3 years of relevant experience preferably in the Engineering (MRO/CAPEX) category.

Assistant Manager Workshop

Assistant Engineer Workshop

Qualification: BE Mechanical from a recognized university
Experience: 3-6 years in Petrochemical/Oil & Gas/Fertilizer/Power Plant industry.

Responsibilities:

  • To plan and manage the operations of the Workshop, Fabrication, Erection, Local Development, Rigging, Scaffolding, Maintenance of buildings and Administrative infra-structure, Non-plant permit management and Civil construction works.
  • Lead the inspections, develop corrective action plans and manage implementation of the same.
  • To manage Rigging store and organize Rigging and Scaffolding activities throughout the plant.
  • Manage fabrication, installation and civil works related to capital and special maintenance jobs and engineering modifications assigned.
  • Essential skills required: Problem solving skills, Ability to work under very stringent time constraints.

Qualification: DAE Mechanical from a recognized institute
Experience: 10-15 Years in Petrochemical/Oil & Gas/Fertilizer/Power Plant industry.

Responsibilities:

  • To effectively oversee and handle engineering services, including Fabrication and welding, Local Development, Rigging, Scaffolding, Maintenance of buildings, painting, refurbishment of manual valves, RVs and Civil construction work
  • Ensure implementation of system generated and OEM recommended Preventive and Predictive Maintenance regimes for Work Shop equipment inorder to keep them in good state of repairs i.e., Lathe Machine, Lapping Machine, Hydraulic Press Machine, Pedestrial Drill Machine, Welding Machines, Miller Machine etc.
  • To supervise and ensure the quality of welding and fabrication jobs, balancing machine operations, Lapping of seal components and handle the refurbishment of manual valves and RVs.

AM Electrical / E&I Reliability

Instrumentation Engineer

AM Planning

Qualification: B.E. Electrical from a recognized university
Experience: 5-8 years in Petrochemical/Oil & Gas/Fertilizer/Power Plant industry.

Job Description

  • Supervises the implementation of predictive, preventive, corrective, modification and major Shutdown maintenance programs.
  • Establishes requirements for major repairs or replacement of spare parts, provides advice on actions to be taken on arising problems.
  • Determines work priorities with other concerned personnel.
  • Prepare failure analysis report, highlight reasons for equipment’s failure and provide recommendations based on analysis.
  • Understanding of Electrical Equipment including transformers, switchgears, generators and Motors.
  • Basic understanding of electrical engineering standards and codes.
  • Understanding of ERP software’s like Maximo etc.
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Experience of working on protection relays, Industrial UPS and VSD’s.

Qualification: B.E. Electronics or Industrial Electronics from a recognized university
Experience: 3-5 years in Petrochemical/Oil & Gas/Fertilizer/Refinery/Power Plant industry

Required Skills:

  • Must have expertise in DCS, PLC, Field Instrumentation, Analyzers, Maximo, Shutdown/Overhaul Planning, Spares/Inventory Management, Reliability and and Asset Integrity etc.
  • Preferred: Post graduation Training in Petrochemical/Oil & Gas/Fertilizer/Power Plant industry for at least 2 years

Qualification: B.E/B.Sc. Mechanical

Experience: 6-8 years in Planning & Contracts in a reputable process industry.

Required Skills:

  • Able to work on MAXIMO or equivalent, MS Project or Primavera.
  • Able to work during Shutdowns and Turnarounds.
